Jim opens ‘Endeavour’ Building in Milton

Today Jim opened the newly refurbished ‘Endeavour’ Building in Milton; a joint venture with the College of West Anglia and Anglia Ruskin University for animal-related higher education courses.

Jim officially opened the building where he was entertained by ‘Kate and Gin’ the dancing dog from Britain’s Got Talent, before taking a tour of the new facilities, which include specially created rooms for lizards, nocturnal animals, snakes and rodents. He was impressed by the new veterinary nursing skills rehearsal suite and a new animal behaviour facility with a concealed viewing room, which allows students to closely study the animals without disturbing their behaviour.

Jim said ‘I was delighted to take part in the opening ceremony for these first-rate facilities that will allow both Anglia Ruskin University and the College of West Anglia to provide a wider range of animal-related courses, including Veterinary Nursing and Applied Animal Behaviour degrees.’
