Jim is looking for an inspirational constituent who he can nominate to carry the Olympic Torch on its journey around the UK before the opening ceremony of the Olympic Games next summer.

The Olympic Torch Relay will be a 70 day celebration that will travel hundreds of miles to bring the London 2012 Games to within a one hour journey of 95% of the population of the UK. The Torch will arrive in the UK on 18 May 2012 and be carried across the country by 8000 inspirational Torchbearers on a relay through towns and cities. The torch is due to come to Peterborough on 3 July and then Cambridge on 7 July 2012.
